Stour Valley

Groups

All members are able to unlock doors to nearly 40 different Interest Groups which run under the umbrella of the Stour Valley U3A. These local Groups are working at the core of our organisation, assisting members in their pursuit of intellectual, social and physical ambitions. Small friendly meetings, appropriate visits, talks and walks are organised to underpin their activities.

Groups meet on a monthly basis in most cases, but others may flourish meeting more frequently - table tennis players for example.  Each Group has a page of information which can be opened by clicking the chosen title above.

Members can join as many of these Interest Groups as they wish. Indeed, if there is a particular activity/interest missing from our list, we are always very keen to create new groups. The U3A is driven by the knowledge and skills provided by its members and shared with others in a process of self learning and self help. So if you have a great idea/enthusiasm which you wish to develop, or have any other questions about Groups, please contact Sue Clark, the Group Co-ordinator and tell her about it.

A new Family History Group may be started. If you are interested please contact Sue Clark.
