Coming Events
The meetings, outings, social events and garden holidays are open to all members.
Other activities are organised in groups for example - Curry Group, International Dining Group, Euro Travel Group, Art Lovers, Film & Theatre Group. See Groups pages to join.
Our next Monthly Talk will be
17 June - Frances Boardman "The Great Stink"
the hot weather of 1858 exacerbated the smell of untreated sewage in the Thames, affecting those in the Houses of Parliament who finally took action & a state-of-the-art sewage system was authorised. See picture of the amazing architecture of Crossness Pumping Station
Monthly talks are almost always held at the Constable Hall, Gandish Road, East Bergholt, which is insured to accomodate up to 100 audience members. This has always been adequate for our audiences, but if an event proved unexpectedly over popular, we would have to, unfortunately, turn away anyone attending beyond that number.

u3a members can access a wide range of free online talks, workshops, and courses through their membership. Most sessions are led by fellow members, sharing their expertise, with additional talks from notable speakers and organizations. Click on the panel above to get access to the range of online courses run by the u3a

Click on the blue panel above and have a look at this regional newsletter.
